Arthur Thomas Burkle

Arthur Thomas Burkle, age 82 of Boones Mill passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2010. He was born March 6, 1928 a son of the late Robert and Gertrude Burkle and was also preceded in death by a baby boy Thomas A. Burkle; 5 brothers; and 2 sisters. He was one of eleven children, a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired as a Butcher. Arthur is survived by his loving wife Joanne Candela Burkle; daughters, Denise Scutari (Tony) of New Jersey, Kathryn Candela of Michigan, Jackie Kinsey (Brian) of Boones Mill; seven grandchildren, Tara, Laura, Donald, Dominic, Aimee, Sam, and Emily; a brother, George Burkle; two sisters, Marion Graves and Mary Wernley; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel, 11 a.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010 with Rev. Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the Kinsey Family Cemetery.
