Barry Mitchell Davis

Barry Mitchell Davis, age 68 of Rocky Mount passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 in the local hospital. He was born on May 19, 1955 a son of the late Wesley E. and Verlie Mitchell Davis. He was also preceded in death by a brother, David Wesley Davis.

Barry was a truck driver with over 30 years of experience. He was a people person as he enjoyed talking to them and just being around them. He had a love for motorcycling, boating and fishing. He will forever be loved and missed by all.

He is survived by his loving wife, Reba W. Davis; brothers and sister-in-law, Gratton Davis (Jackie), Gene Davis, and Sherri Davis; his sisters, Karen Overstreet (Darrell), and Sharon Edmonds. He is also survived by other family members and numerous friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Friday, December 1, 2023 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Rev. James H. Steele officiating. Interment will be private in West End Cemetery, Wytheville, VA. His family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 PM on Friday.
