Benny "Butch" Tolley, Jr.

Benny Archie Tolley (Butch), born February 19, 1953, left this world on January 1, 2026 and followed his mother Margaret and beloved Wife Kathy.

Taken from us long before we were ready, he leaves behind his daughter Mellissa Tolley (Richard), his son David Tolley (Ashlee), five grandchildren Darren, Alex, Kyndall, Adriana, and Adam; sister Ann Ricketts, dear friend Allen Ricketts, and his “second daughter” Susan and her husband Monte. Butch’s best friend and “Brother” Allen Pritchett and Allen’s wife Mary were lifelong companions and brought such comfort and happiness to his life.

An avid outdoorsman and animal lover he could be found white water canoeing, fishing, 4-wheeling, hiking, and camping. He turned to doing volunteer work, cleaning up trails, in his later years with his closest friends.

Butch will be remembered by all that knew him for his kindness and gentleness, his remarkable sense of humor, the pranks he loved to play on people, and the vigor he was determined to live his life with.
