Betty Jean Agee

Betty Jean Agee age 84 of Rocky Mount passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019 in Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 25, 1935 a daughter of the late Frank and Elsie Altice and was also preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Agee; sisters, Shirley Turner and Mildred Noell and Dorothy McGee; brothers, Wayne Altice and John Altice; her former husband, Carter Agee. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mitzie and Jeff Martin; granddaughters, Amanda Martin and Sherrie Turner (Devin); daughter-in-law, Patricia Agee; grandson, Billy Joe Agee; great-grandsons, Ryan Rigney, Colton Rigney and John Agee. She is also survived by her brothers, Bill Altice and Bob Altice (Sandra); other family members and many friends. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to charity of your choice in her name. Funeral services and visitation will be private along with the burial in Franklin Memorial Park, all officiated by Pastor Rick Poland.
