Betty Mitchell Guthrie

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Jean Mitchell Guthrie, age 85, who peacefully left the world and was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 12, 2024. Betty was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love was felt by all who knew her.

Betty was born on April 7, 1939. She was a pillar of strength for her family, always offering guidance, love, and support.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Albert Guthrie Sr.; her brother, William Mitchell; her son, Albert Guthrie Jr.; daughter, Tammy Howell, and son-in-law, Michael Howell. She also leaves behind three grandchildren and three adoring great-grandchildren who will forever carry her memory.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Franklin Memorial Park.
