Billie H. Hodges

Billie H. Hodges age 80 of Rocky Mount passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Franklin Health & Rehab Center. She was born March 25, 1938 to the late Alvin O. and Madaline J. Hodges and was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Hodges, a great-granddaughter; two sisters & two brothers-in-law, Martha Young, Frances & Jim Broce and Fred Buckner. She is survived by two sons, Richard Hodges and Steven Hodges of Rocky Mount, Virginia, two daughters, Laura Minter of Martinsville, VA and Phyllis (Mike) Fuda of York, South Carolina; also, her Grandchildren Barry Hodges, Amanda Zacheija, Angela Eskew, Ashley Thornton, Zachary Fuda, Leah Fuda, Dustin and Aaron Hodges; 13 Great-Grandchildren. Billie is also survived by her sisters Rebecca (Alvah)Preston, Betty Hall, Helen (James) Bennett, Pat (Lewis)Law and Doris Buckner. Billie retired from Dupont in Martinsville, VA and she was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She loved crocheting and working in flowers. At Billie's request there will be no service.
