Carl L. Gillispie

Carl L. Gillispie, age 60 of Ferrum, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2010. He was born July 28, 1950 to the late Hobert & Macy Ann Gillispie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Wilbert & Robert Gillispie; sisters Rose Mary Hawks and Minnie Hawks. Surviving is his daughter Brandy N. Gillispie; sisters Leona Feazelle, Betty Cobbler and husband Daniel, Jane Ortiz and husband Raymond, and Louise Trail and husband Allen; special friends Wayne & Casey Hodges; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bobby Rakes officiating. Interment will follow in the Shively Family Cemetery.
