Carolyn Hopkins

Carolyn Hardy Hopkins, age 79 of Rocky Mount, passed away January 13, 2025. Carolyn was born March 20, 1945 to the late Albert K. Hardy and Annie Leffue Hardy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Henry Lee Hopkins. 

After receiving a masters degree from Radford University, Carolyn taught school for a brief time for Franklin County Public Schools. Shorty thereafter, she would form a partnership with her husband Harry Lee and nephew Carter, founding Hoha Dairy farm. She enjoyed working as a dairy farmer for many years and had a special love for all the animals they raised. 

Surviving are many nephews and nieces. The family would especially like to thank Stephanie Hicks for the love and care she gave Carolyn.
