Cheryl Bowles Ellis

Cheryl Bowles Ellis, age 66 of Wirtz went with the Angels to be with our Lord on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. Cheryl was born February 16, 1944. She dedicated her life to her family. Her heart and her door were always open. She will be sadly and greatly missed and remembered with much Love and admiration. She was preceded in death by her husband Woodrow Ellis; A very special nephew Ricky Lee Carter. She is survived by her parents Claude Jesse and Melva Greer (Polly) Hodges of Rocky Mount; Her children Brenda B. Davis and Husband Michael Wallace of Rocky Mount, David W. Bowles and Wife Terri of Rocky Mount, Brian K.Bowles and Wife Debra of Wirtz; Her Grandchildren Jason Bowles of Roanoke, Matthew Davis of Boones Mill, Bo Darren Bowles of Rocky Mount, Rachel Davis of Rocky Mount and Kristianna Bowles of Wirtz; Her Great-Granddaughter Montana F. Bowles of Danville. She is also survived by her Brothers Jesse David (Pap) Hodges and Wife Cathy of Wirtz, Barry Wayne (Buzz) Hodges and Wife Nancy of Glade Hill; sisters Barbara Hodges Carter and Husband Roger of Rocky Mount, Kimberlee Dawn Hodges of Rocky Mount; 5 nieces Cassandra (Sandy) Doss, Jeanette Mullins and Husband Mark, Laura Leigh Carter, Shanna Carter Smith and Husband Kyle and Kelsey Lynn Hodges; Very Special Friends Dr. David Cummings, W.N. (Bill) Alexander and Donald K. Ranson; Several great-nieces and nephews. Special Thanks to Adult Home Health Care of Rocky Mount and Good Samaritan Hospice of Roanoke.
