Our wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday evening, July 11th, 2026.  Chris Ann Lester-Gillespie, of Rocky Mount, at the age of 57.

Dearly loved and cherished wife of Anthony  "Tony" Gillespie.  Loving mom to Cayla (Aaron) Hodges, Melissa (Andy) Sharp and Cortney (Arron) Hines, Chris Ann was predeceased by her loving parents Cecil and Alice Lester.

Also left to mourn her passing are her step-sons, Thomas and Chris (Sarah) Gillespie and her dear sister Alice Marie Lester.

Caring grandmother to Parker and Valton Sharp, Avery and Oliver Hodges, Eli Walker, Trenton Gillespie and Leigh Ann Sheffield.

Her beloved puppies; Gracie, Otis and Kevin will miss their Chihuahua Mom dearly!

Pastor Noel Naff will officiate the funeral service which be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of the Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 62 Virginia Market Place Drive, Rocky Mount, Virginia  24151.

Chris Ann's family will welcome friends one hour prior to service time.
