Clara Anne Hale

Clara Anne Hale, 81 of Rocky Mount, VA passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023.  She was a daughter of the late James Russell and Mary Elizabeth Divers Jenkins.  She was also preceded in death by her husbands, James Jones and Lawrence Hale; son, Lonnie Wayne Jones; and great-niece, Amber Hoback.  She worked at VA Apparel and after retirement, she worked as a cashier at Walmart.

She is survived by her brother, George “Jay” Jenkins; special niece, Mary Jenkins, great-niece, Ashley Hoback; stepdaughter, Christine Cooper; special friend, Wanda Flanagan; and other family and friends.

Graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 11 at Carter-Young Cemetery in Ferrum, VA with Pastor Rick Poland officiating.
