Cynthia "Cindy" Hostler

Cynthia “Cindy” Hostler age 75, of Rocky Mount, VA passed away Thursday, April 30th with her loving and devoted husband by her side. Cindy was born in Franklin, NJ to the late L. B. and Carolyn Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Jimmy and John; grandchild, Genevieve; sisters, Joanne and Carol; and brother-in-law, Jerry.

Cindy was a classy lady. She dearly loved her family and was best known as “Grandma Cindy” to the grandchildren she cherished. Sean and Bryn were especially “the apple of her eye.” Cindy enjoyed puzzle books and crocheting. She generously gave afghans and baby blankets as gifts and to charities.

Surviving is her husband, Timothy “Tim”; children, Michelle and Scott (Chrissy); daughter-in-law, Kristen; grandchildren, Sean, Bryn, Ashley (Greg), Taylor (Garrett), Madison, Katelyn, Declan, and Mason; great-grandchild, Jordi; sister, Janice (Kenny) Huff; brother-in-law, Dave Licata; several nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins.

Cindy’s family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, Saturday, May 9th at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 62 Virginia Market Place Dr. Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151. Private services will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church or charity of your choice in Cindy’s memory.
