Dale Hodges

On May 6, 2020, the Lord reached down his hand for Douglas Dale Hodges, age 55. Dale was a hard worker and loved to sing about the Lord. He was preceded in death by his father Douglas Paul Hodges; son, Timothy Dale Nichols; and grandson, Tegan Coy Lee Church. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 13 years, Mary Alice Ovsenik Hodges; his mother and step-father Rachel and Jimmy Boyd; stepmother, Susie Hodges; children, Monica (Frank) Church, Casey (Jennifer) Dawson, Carla Dawson, Ryan Nichols, and Zachary Hodges; grandchildren, Rylee, Trinity, Lacey, Montana, Tensley, Brayden, Natalie, Sadie and Josie; siblings, Becky (Steve) Smith, Deborah (Ricky) Hodges, Chelsea (Mike) Furrow, Jamie (Crystal) Boyd, Crystal (Mark) Collins, Melinda Hodges, Peggy Boston, Mary (Ruben) Altice, Tracy (Johnny) Gonzalez, Stacy (Vickie) Boyd and his beloved pet Holley. A special thanks to Carilion Hospice, Helen Naylor Wilcox and Christy Nichols Johnson for their loving care not only for Dale, but his family as well.
