David P. Jensen

David Peter Big Dave Jensen of Glade Hill, VA and formerly of Edison, New Jersey died Thursday, December 2, 2010 at his home. He was the son of the late Edwin and Clara Jensen and was also preceded in death by his brother Richard Jensen. He retired as an electrician for Ford Motor Company with 24 years service and was a member of The Edison Elks, Perth Amboy Moose Lodge, and the Danish Brotherhood of Edison, NJ. He was a loving husband, step-father, and Poppy who will be missed by all. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Sherry Jensen; step-children, Monica Holon (Brian), Raymond Strackbein (Johanna), Eric DeRonde; Nine grandchildren; and His five Canine Buddies; and His Cat. Services will be conducted from Conner- Bowman Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 5, 2010 with Rev. Taylor Tolliver officiating. Interment will follow at the Jensen Family Cemetery at the home. The family will be receiving friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home.
