David Alan King, Sr., age 78 of Rocky Mount, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024. Mr. King was born July 22, 1945 in Maryland to the late Roland and Marjorine King.
David loved people, He enjoyed talking to everyone he ran across and never met a stranger. David was a very active and devout member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Rocky Mount He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Surviving is his loving wife of 57 years, Susan King; sons David King, Jr, Todd King (Shirley); and grandsons Lucas and Connor King.
Funeral Mass will be held 12 noon Saturday March 16, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church , 15 Glenwood Dr., Rocky Mount, VA 24151.His family will be receiving friends from 11 am until 12 at the church. Inurnment will follow the ceremony in Resurrection Catholic Church Cemetery.
