David L. Morris, age 69 of Rocky Mount went to be the Lord Sunday, March 13, 2011. David was born December 10, 1941 to the late Otis & Gracie Morris. He was a loving husband & father and will be missed by all that knew him. Surviving are his loving wife of 46 years Vesta H. Morris; son Dean Morris; brother and sister-in-law Ray and Essie Morris of Newport News; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Harry and Barbara Harrison; many nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011 with Dr, Jackie Spence officiating. Interment will follow in the Frith Family Cemetery.
