Deborah Lucado Webb

Deborah Lucado Webb, 69, of Wirtz, VA, went peacefully to be with the Lord Sunday the 5th of May, 2024. Born and raised in Franklin County, VA to Rader J. Lucado and Clara H. Rigney, who preceded her in death. Deborah lived her life for the Lord and was a charter member of Mount Pleasant Christian Church, bringing many friends and family into the church with her. Deborah was a devoted mother and grandmother, as well as using her big heart to love anyone who needed it. Her love and light in our now dim world will surely be missed. 

In addition to her parents, Deborah was also preceded in death by son, Christopher A. Webb; and sister Mae Mabe. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Jonathan A. Webb; her “Sunshine” Jennifer L. Webb (Garrett); her older sister Hazel Harrison, her older sister, Janet Bousman (Winfred); her cousin and sister at heart Betty Lou Pruitt (Bobby); all of her brothers and sisters in Christ at Mount Pleasant Christian Church, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, and the two lights of her life, her grandsons, Alexander and Oliver. Deborah will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her, her love was unmatched.

Funeral services will be conducted from Mount Pleasant Christian Church at 11:00 AM Friday, May 10, 2024. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 AM at the church.
