Debra Jean Gray

Debra Jean Gray age 57 of Ferrum passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024. She was a daughter of the late Ernie Moore and Shirley Greenway Garraghty. She was also preceded in death by a brother, sister, and her sister-in-law, Christy Garraghty.

Debra was a homemaker and enjoyed doing for others. Cooking and cleaning were her specialties, and she could do both as good as anyone. She was a mother figure to everyone especially her nieces and nephews. She was the life of the party no matter where she was. She will never be forgotten and will always be missed and loved by all.

She is survived by her brother, Wesley Garraghty; special nieces and nephews, Nicholas Garraghty, Breanna "Breezy" Bush, Joseph Garraghty, Wanda Gordon, Edward Moran and Shaune Harris; aunt, Barbara Jones; cousins, Melissa Spears and J.P. Jones. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

A Celebration of Debra's life will be held at a later date. Details will be announced as soon as everything is worked out.
