Donald “Duck” Phyllow Ledbetter, Sr., 70, of Rocky Mount passed away Friday, April 13, 2018. He was born September 9, 1947 a son of the late James Garfield Ledbetter , Sr. and Hestelle Amos Ledbetter In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son, Donald Phyllow Ledbetter, Jr.; brothers, Arnold “Big Boy” Ledbetter, Clifford “PeeWee” Ledbetter and Jessie Wray; sister and brother-in-law, Carmen Delilah Hodges and husband, David R. Hodges; ex-wife, Bonnie Ledbetter. Duck is survived by his sons, Andrew “BJ” Altice, Gregory “Greg” Ledbetter and Stacy Ledbetter; brother, Garfield James Ledbetter, Jr.; sisters and brother-in-law, Janie Murphy (Bishop) and Phyllis Rigney; sister-in-law, Sylvia Wray; grandchildren, Harley, Dillon, Seth and Taylor Ledbetter; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A celebration of Duck’s life will be held 6 PM, Monday, April 16, 2018 at Conner-Bowman Chapel, 62 Virginia Market Place Drive, Rocky Mount.
