Emily Lorraine Childers

Emily Lorraine Childers age 38 of Rocky Mount passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022. She was born on January 16, 1984 a daughter of Patricia Lee Childers and the late Michael David Childers. In addition to her mother, she is also survived by her sister, Sarah Shockley (Nick); her niece, Kaitlyn; and nephew, Cole; uncle, Billy Lee (Susie); Aunts, Linda Lee and Penny David (Fred). She is also survived by several cousins and other relatives. The family would like to say a special thanks to Cathy Key and staff of Key Living Options of Salem along with the others residents for their unending love and care. A Celebration of Emily’s life will be conducted from Henry Fork Church of the Brethren 2 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2022 with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating.
