Gary Maupin Goodale

Gary Maupin Goodale, age 88 of Boones Mill, passed away February 27, 2026.

Gary was graduate of the University of Virginia and was a retired teacher, having taught AP English at Cave Spring High School for many years. She was lover of horses, dogs and cats and was a lifetime member of the Southwest Virginia Dressage Association.

Surviving are: Gail Maupin Jones, sister, Virginia Beach Sandra Maupin Landry, sister, Crozet; niece Paula Pennington (Jimmy) of Mechanicsville, VA. Great nephews Chis Pennington (Brittany) of Richmond, VA and James Pennington of Glen Allen, VA. Niece Debbie Arrowood (Mike) of Chesapeake, VA. Great Niece Caroline Stacks (Joe) and Great-Great Niece Virginia Gail of Norfolk, VA.Great Nephew William Cade Arrowood of Richmond, VA. Niece Kimberly Savage/deceased (Todd) of Virginia Beach, VA. Great Nephews Jordan and Benjamin Savage of Virginia Beach, VA.
