Gene Eldon Brown

Gene Eldon Brown age 73 of Salem passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 surrounded by his family.

He was born on March 18, 1949 a son of the late William D. and Wilma  Banks Brown. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Brenda C. Brown; and a brother, Jerry Brown.

He is survived by his daughters, Genea Brown Parrish (Rusty), and Melinda Phanelson (Emily Minton); grandchildren, Samantha Holman, John Watts V, and Skylin Phanelson; great-grandchildren, Aria and Alaya Lynch; sister, Brenda B. Simpson (Roger); brothers and sisters-in-law, Delane Brown (Shelby), Danny Ray Brown (Sue), and Catherine Brown. He is also survived by a special friend, Johnny Watts; other family members and a host of friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
