James William Trail

James William Trail, age 87 of Ferrum, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2010. He was born March 6, 1923 to the late William Jefferson Trail and Liza Midkiff Trail. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Gloria Underwood Trail; brother Zera Trail; sisters Frances T. Snead and Amy T. Whitlock. He is survived by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Eula Ina and Luke Quinn; nieces and nephews; special friends Deborah and Jeremy Trail. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Ferrum Rescue Squad. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2010 with Elders Carl and Mark Terry & Pastor Joey Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Endicott Hill Cemetery.
