James Silas Wagner

James Silas Wagner, 86, of Rocky Mount passed away Monday, October 10, 2022. He was born February 11, 1936 the son of the late Horace Jefferson Wagner and Ocie Gay Allen Wagner. He was preceded in death by a sister, Alpha Hale; three brothers, Curtis Wagner, Howard Wagner, Charles Wagner. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Thelma Hamilton Wagner; two sisters, Voleria Cundiff (Bill), Esther Waller (Junior); brother, Albert Wagner; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Lynch Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Marla Moore and Pastor Allen Cogar officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Vision Assembly of God Church, Mountain Valley Hospice or Living Water Church.
