Jean Blackledge Richmond

Jean Blackledge Richmond, age 57 of Rocky Mount died Wednesday, January 5, 2011. She was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, an avid outdoors person who loved to cook. Most of all she was a firm believer in the Lord and enjoyed her bible studies. Throughout her illness she always kept a smile. Jean will be loved and missed by all her knew her. She was born November 15, 1953 a daughter of the late William and Marie Hodge Blackledge. She was also preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Richmond; stepdaughters Cheryle Gonzalez (Aaron) and Beth Wilson (Scott); five grandchildren; many other family members and friends. A memorial service will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 7 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2011 with Pastor Rick Poland officiating.
