Jeff Moran

Jeffrey Lynn (Jeff) Moran, age 66 of Rocky Mount, on Sunday, April 3, 2022 his earthly journey ended and his Heavenly journey began. He was preceded in death by his father, Flemon Moran, Sr.; brother, Michael Alan Moran. He is survived by his mother, Dee Kalmbach; his loving and devoted wife of 41 years, Dana; his sons, Jamie (Kelly), Tony (Rhonda), Wayne (Carrie) and Jody (Shannon); his six grandchildren, Chey, Jimmy, Ashton (Tim), Abby, Nolan, and Katelyn; brothers, Butch Moran (Pat), Euell Moran (LaVerne); sister, Vana Moran McClanahan. Jeff is also survived by a special sister-in-law, Becky Young; brothers-in-law, William Weaver, Stafford Weaver (Joyce) Allen Weaver (Georgia); other family members including nieces, nephews and a host of friends. A special thanks to Becky Young, William Weaver, Tony, Rhonda, Jimmy, and Nolan Young for caring for our needs. Also thanks to caregiver Kelly Criner and Tonya from Kindred Hospice. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Tom Kilian, Minister and Mr. Johnny Webb officiating. Per Jeff’s request, he has always been an early riser so his entombment will take place on Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 5th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the family home.
