Jerry Wayne Massey

Jerry Wayne Massey, age 76, of Rocky Mount, VA was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, October 5, 2026. He was born on September 9, 1950, in Arlington, VA the second of six sons to Cletis and Mattie Massey.

Jerry will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit and incredible sense of humor. 

He is survived by his wife Donna Massey of Rocky Mount; daughters Stephanie M. Kendrick (Terry) and Angelia Massey of Roanoke; two grandchildren Bryce Hall and Brittany Massey; brothers Ronnie Massey (Diana) of Auburn, NY and Timothy Massey (Patty) of Wirtz, VA; and special niece and nephew, Molly (Bugga) Layman and Timothy (Little T) Massey II. He was preceded in death by his parents Cletis and Mattie Massey; brothers Larry, Wesley and Danny Massey.

A private graveside service will be held at a date and time to be determined later. His family is grateful for the kindness and support shown during this time.
