John Wesley Young

John Wesley Young, age 77, of Rocky Mount passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018. He was the son of the late Robert Andrew and Ocie Yopp Young. He was also preceded in death by his wife; Elizabeth Young; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters. Mr. Young is survived by his daughter, Melissa Amos and husband Tommy; son, Bruce Young and wife Frances who was his special friend and wonderful caregiver; grandchildren, Savannah Amos, Brooke Amos and Courtney Amos; sister-in-law, Vivian Young and special canine companion “Little Girl”. Memorial Services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Bethany United Methodist Church with Pastor Rick Poland officiating.
