Joshua Steven "Josh" Grisetti

Beloved actor, director, educator, author, husband, son, brother and friend, Joshua Steven Grisetti, “Josh”, age 44, passed away early Friday morning, July 10, 2026. Born December 1, 1981, in Washington, DC, Josh grew up in Boones Mill, Virginia. He attended Franklin County High School his Freshman through Junior years (Class President all three years), and was a 2000 graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts before attending the Boston Conservatory, where he earned his BFA in Musical Theatre in 2004, and his MFA in Performance Pedagogy at LMU, Los Angeles in 2021.

Josh is survived by his Wife, Mackenzie, his Mother and Father, Pat and John Grisetti, his Sisters, April Grisetti Olts (Matthew) and Jenny Haggerty (Mark); Aunts; Linda Rudd (Harold), Debbie Wood (Gregg), Cindy Fisher, Linda Cullinan; Kathy Small (Sonny) (deceased); Uncles: Joe Grisetti (Deneen), Mike Grisetti (Rita), Rob Grisetti (Kari); as well as treasured and loved nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, August 2, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from Franklin Heights Church with Pastor Stan Parris officiating.
