Joyce Jones Zeigler

Joyce Zeigler, age 82 of Glade Hill, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021. Joyce was born September 29, 1939 to the late Willie Guy Jones and Josephine Holland Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James W. Zeigler and several brothers and sisters. Surviving are daughters Melissa Newcomb (Troy), Regina Gatton (Mark); her son Steve Zeigler (Kim); grandchildren Jennifer Poindexter (Jay), Jonathan Smith, Samantha Newcomb; four great-grandchildren; brothers Wayne Jones (Linda), Pete Jones (Linda), James Jones; many other friends and family. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home (Rt. 220 Chapel) with Mr. Kevin Tosh officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will be receiving friends Tuesday, from 5-7 p.m. at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 62 Virginia Market Place Dr., Rocky Mount.
