Kathleen "Kathy" Brunk Goad

Kathleen "Kathy" Brunk Goad age 84 of Wirtz passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026. She was born in Dott, West Virginia on July 7, 1942 a daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy Brunk. She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Evelyn Fortner, Russell Brunk, Wayne Brunk, Douglas Brunk, Delorice Brunk, Joyce Brunk and Helen Brunk.

Kathy retired from Carilion Clinic as a medical secretary working at the Wolfe Medical Group and was a member of Burnt Chimney United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Bentley Goad; son, Kevin Bentley Goad (Nancy) and their children, Ali Bell (Wes), Gary L. Goad (Ashley); her great-grandchildren, Grayson Bell, Ainsley Bell, Emery Goad and Chase Grimes; her daughter, Amy G. Wells (Mike) and their children, Kathleen Wells and Emily Wells.

At this time there will not be any services.
