Lolene Peters Housman

Lolene Peters Housman, age 71 of Ferrum went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 19, 2011. She was born July 22, 1939 a daughter of the late Leland Doc and Cora Hale Peters. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Corina Peters Wagoner; brothers-in-law, Walter Housman, Ervin Pagans; and a sister-in-law, Helen Pagans. Leaving behind to honor her life is her husband of 52 years, Monroe W. Housman; sisters, Vieva Dickerson, Roxie (Jesse) Nichols, Goldie Hughes, Judy (Kenneth) Peters; special niece, Debbie Simmons; special friend, Betty Bryant; sister-in-law, Peggy Housman; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel, 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2011 with Rev. Bud Nichols and Rev. Phillip Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made in her name to Evangelistic House of Prayer Building Fund, 785 Rambling Rose Road, Ferrum, Virginia 24088. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at the home.
