Lonnie Maxey

Lorenzy Everett “Lonnie” Maxey age 63 of Rocky Mount went to his Heavenly home on Friday, September 13, 2019. He was born on February 22, 1956 a son of the late Alton Maxey, Sr. and Mary Christine Maxey Sloan. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Maxey Webb and Loretta Maxey Mason; two brothers, Larry “Peach” Maxey and Jerry Maxey. Left to cherish his memory are two brothers, Alton Maxey, Jr. (Mary) and Curtis Maxey (Wanda); along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be considered and paid to Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
