Marge Hensley

Marge Hensley, age 62 of Moneta went to be with the Lord Sunday, August 7, 2011 She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Lee Hensley; her son John Lee Hensley; mother Josephine Kilburn; and special companion David Hall. Marge attended Resurrection Catholic church. She was a hardworking woman who loved the lake and loved traveling, but her passion in life was her family, especially her “grandbabies”. Surviving are her daughter Kelley Hensley (David Truman); grandchildren Josie Ford, Jesse Ford and Maddy Hensley; sister Cris Cooke; her beloved dog Cody; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and her friends at Carilion. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road # 106, Roanoke, VA 24018. Mass of the Resurrection will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Resurrection Catholic Church with Father Sal Anonuevo officiating. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
