Mari-Jo Swonger Kidd

Mari-Jo Swonger Kidd was called to her home in Heaven April 16th 2022. She was born January 11th, 1948 in Ohio to the late Werner and Hazel Swonger. She worked for over 40 years as a lab technician and finally retired in 2020. She loved the beach, especially her girl trips with her friends for so many years. Although her health kept her from making it to church, she was devoted in watching Pastor Gary Hoffman at Faith Fellowship every Sunday and Wednesday. Along with her parents she was looking forward to joining her daughter, Deana Michelle Kidd, once again. Left to cherish her memories area her son, Michael Greydon Kidd and wife Sarah, her granddaughters that were also her pride and joy, Taylor Marie Kidd and Kayleigh Michelle Kidd; her sister, Shelley Cox, her nieces Renee Finney (Mike), Rhonda Keen and Robin Bukunus (Peter), and other family in Ohio. Never leaving out her best friend for years Vickie Caldwell and her three beautiful daughters along with their families. We also want to include her many co- workers she made along the years of working in different states, some keeping in touch with her for years. Last but not least, we want to add a special thank you to her caregivers the last couple of months. They went above and beyond! Per her request, we will only hold a small family life celebration later but if anyone still wishes to send something we’re asking in lieu of flowers donations be made to Faith Fellowship Church in Wirtz, VA 24184.
