Marilyn Ann "Muffin" Hall age 64 of Callaway passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. She was born on May 1, 1961 a daughter of the late Ben and Bev Hall in New York. The family moved to Virginia in 1977 where she lived the rest of her life. She was married to Ronnie Gillispie and to this union a daughter was born, Doreen. He second marriage was to Charlie Haley and after his passing, she married Jimmy Hall.
She enjoyed junk journaling, painting, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends especially grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great nephew, TJ.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandmothers, Ethel Hall and Vivian Hyatt; husbands, Charlie Haley and Jimmy Hall; nephews, Mark and DJ Hall; niece, Amber Hall; and stepdaughter, Tammy Woody Dalton.
Muffin is survived by her daughter, Doreen Shively (Ricky Via); stepson, Jim Hall; grandchildren, Haley Gillispie, Grace Causey and Travis Broughman; her great-grandchildren, Nagisa, Seth and Phinx; brothers, Chuck Hall (Dawn), Oxford, ME, DougHall (Linda), and Dennis Hall and friend Mona, Callaway; sister-in-law, Debbie Hall; She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Charlie, Andrea, Kaleb and Jacob Hall, and Robert King; several great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins; special life-long friends, Rosemary and Mark Funk. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Monday, March 16, 2026 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Poland officiating. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers please consider memorial donations to Conner-Bowman Funeral Home to help with final expenses. Donations may be made in person or by calling with a debit or credit card.
