Mary Sink Hall

Mary Sink Hall age 92 of Rocky Mount passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026 after a short illness. She was born on July 30, 1933 a daughter of the late Alfred and Maude Sink and was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray H. Hall; sisters, Hazel Pendleton, Mavis Carr, Wanda Clark, Robin Clark and Nell Hunt; brothers, Dennis Sink and Junior Sink.

Mary was a kind and loving soul who dedicated her life to helping others. Her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whom she loved with all her heart. A faithful member of Faith Fellowship, she found great peace and community within her church. As a devoted homemaker, Mary took pride in caring for her family and keeping a warm, orderly home. She lived simply, giving generously of herself and never asking for anything in return. In her quiet moments, she enjoyed sewing, tending to her flowers, and solving word puzzles. Mary will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her gentle spirit and giving heart. Her work here is complete. Rest in Peace, good and faithful servant.

She is survived by her children, Sandy Hammock (Eddie) and Kelly Hall (Rachael Shiflett); her grandchildren, April Yopp, Pam Mize (Willie Mize),  Shaun Robertson, Christian, Gabriel, Cynthia, Warren & Leigh Leigh; her great-grandchildren, Beau and Emberli Mize); sisters, Jewel Austin, Florence Hodges, Yvonne Ilgenfritz (David); brother, Curtis Sink. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastors Gary Hoffman, Tom Siddle and Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Friends may call after 3 PM Tuesday with her family receiving friends from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
