Melissa Steward

Melissa J. Steward, age 40, of Boones Mill and formerly of Owensboro, KY, passes away Saturday, July 10, 2010. She was preceded in death by a sister, Melinda Stewart; and grandparents, Roy and Evelyn Morris. Surviving is her mother, Linda M. Davis; father and stepmother, Jack and Bonnie Stewart; daughters, Melinda Byrd and husband John, Leah Havener and fiance DJ; granddaughter, Lorissa Byrd; sisters Michelle and Dean Pyle, and Jacquelyn Fuchs; longtime companion Michael Tripp; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made to assist with funeral expenses. A memorial service will be conducted from Boones Mill United Methodist Church, 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2010, with Rev. Ben Chidester officiating.
