Michael Wayne Goodman

Michael Wayne Goodman, age 62 of Roanoke, VA passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019. He was born July 27, 1956 a son of the late John R. and Gladys Bowles Goodman. He was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Mary Gusler and sister-in-law Pokey Richards. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved to read, was a firearm enthusiast but most of all his passion was for his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Connie Goodman; sons, Justin Goodman (Robin), Drew Goodman (Hannah), Jay Greer (Kim); grandchildren, Gage, Alina, Trinity, and Jordan; brother-in-law, Bud Gusler (Denise); and many other close friends and family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to We Care of Franklin County, 661 N. Main Street, Rocky Mount, VA 24151 A memorial service will be held 2:30 PM, Sunday, April 7 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel with Pastor Josh Cokendolpher officiating.
