Michelle Davis Angle

Michelle Davis Angle age 60 of Roanoke passed away at her residence on Sunday, January 3, 2021 surrounded by family. She was born on May 17, 1960 a daughter of John Michael and Dora Bunn Davis. She was preceded in death by her first husband, the love of her life and best man she ever met and knew, her soulmate, Gary Crawford Angle; her beloved Granny Belva; and her second husband and lifetime best friend, William “Bill” Mitchell. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her oldest son, Zane Ashby Angle (Jennifer Lynn Leistra – according to mom, "Jenn is your best girl Zane, and she loves you, never let her go, but always work with her, she is a strong woman, but you two together are strong enough to move mountains..." she even saved her name in her phone as Jenn "My best girl"); youngest son, Gavin Benjamin Angle, Derek Pridgen - he is like a brother to me, we grew up together and played ball together, and he and my mom were very close just as if he was her third son. She is also survived by her sister, Annette Cox; brother, Rickey Davis; her stepchildren, Chad Mitchell, Katie Mitchell, Ben Mitchell and Tyler Mitchell; her loving aunt, Patricia Bunn; very close friend, Donetta Keene – she loved Donetta dearly, and they always had the best times when they were together. Joshua 1:9 "... Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go..." Mom truly believed that verse of the Bible no matter what... she stood by that verse, made her daily decisions by that verse, because she knew God was right beside her the entire time... A celebration of her life will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Poland officiating.
