Mildred Campbell Carter

Mildred Marie Campbell Carter age 99 of Roanoke County passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. She was born on October 23, 1923 a daughter of the late William McKinley and Lottie Hofawger Campbell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Hubert Carter; and her sister, Edith Campbell King.

She is survived by her son, Roger Carter (Pat); special nephew and niece, Kevin and Amy King; special friend, Terry Bryant. She is also survived by other family members; numerous friends; and her church family at Clearbrook Grace Brethren Church.

The family would like to say a very special thank you to Good Samaritan Hospice of Roanoke for all of their care and support.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, June 19, 2023, at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
