Millie Sue Ayers

Millie Sue Ayers, 68, of Rocky Mount, VA passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at her home. She was born May 30, 1952 the daughter of the late Herman Powhatan Perkins and Katherine Witt Perkins. She was preceded by a brother, Herman Perkins, Jr. and a sister, Teresa Perkins. Surviving are her husband, Michael Ayers; two daughters, Virginia Frye (Brad) and Tanya Altice (Mark); seven grandchildren, Brooke Frye, Ryan Frye, Michael Altice, Mark Altice, Jr., Patrick Altice, Alexandria Altice, ShelbyLue Altice; sister, Debbie Peters (Ricky); two brothers, Billy Perkins, Sr. (Barbara) and Robert Perkins (Brenda). Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Monday at Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Church of the Brethren Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. before the services starts. Please keep in mind that the guidelines mandated by Gov.
