Nancy Rose

Nancy M. Rose, age 75, of Wirtz, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011. Nancy was born November 19, 1935, a daughter of the late Earl and Stella Curry. She is survived by her life-long companion, Charles Surber of the home; children, Kathy R. Matagrano of Wirtz, Terry R. Rose, Jr.; Timothy W. Rose of Fredericksburg, Karen Henrriquez of Woodbridge, Sherry Wright of Fredericksburg, and Scott Rose of Roanoke; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; and 6 sisters. She was preceded in death by husband, Terry R. Rose, Sr.; daughter, Ruby Louise; and son, Mark Rose. Funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel, 1 p.m. Thursday, March 17, with Dr. Jackie Spence officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home.
