Randy Don Carter

Randy Don Carter, age 66 of Callaway, passed away November 3, 2023. He was born December 19, 1956. Preceding him in death was his father Donald Booth Carter; stepfather John Wayne LaPrade; father-in-law Bobby Lee Crum and sister-in-law Glenda Crum Young.

Surviving is his wife of 48 years Brenda Crum Carter; mother Vera Carter LaPrade; Goddaughter Laureen Stanley Alley; special "God given children to love" Clinton Stanley and Grant Alley; a special side kick, his dog "Blue"; mother-in-law Sadie Hall Crum; brother-in-law Harden Crum (Loretta); nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

Randy leaves behind many friends who he loved dearly and has joined many that he loved in his life.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Callaway Fire Department,

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p,m. Wednesday from Pigg River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Arrangements by Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 62 Virginia Market Place Dr., Rocky Mount.
