Robert Patrick-Gatlin Smith, 70, of Franklin County, VA passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born August 13, 1952 the son of the late Robert A. Smith and Helen McCarthy Smith. He was preceded in death by a son, Andrew Smith. Surviving are two daughters, Christina Smith, Michelle Smith; son, Jonathan Smith; sister, Kathy Carey; brother, Mike Smith; life long partner, Cathy Smith. All arrangements will be private.
