Robert Arnold Wheaton

Robert Wheaton, proud veteran, husband, father and grandfather, motorcycle enthusiast, passed away on 7/27/2026 in Ferrum, Virginia at 72 years old. He was born on 11/15/1953 in Linwood, New Jersey. Bob proudly served as a US Marine for four years, following in a career as a successful painter in the union. He built a life anchored in hard work, his family, riding his motorcycle, and living life to the fullest. Bob was one of eight children. He was married to Mary Tuthill (Wheaton) for what would have been 45 years on August 28th. What started as a blind date set up by friends, Bob and Mary fell into a lifetime ride of love. Bob had four children: Arron, Adrian, Bryan, and Brent. He was blessed with 10 grandchildren that filled his life with joy and laughter. He loved playing guitar together with his sons, riding his motorcycle, and grilling out with family. Bob enjoyed working with his hands and instilled this in his sons over the years. Bobs life will be honored with a private celebration of life, at his home with his family.

To honor Bob's final wishes, cremation has taken place.
