Sallie Ann Jamison

Early Monday morning, May 18, 2026, Sallie Ann Jamison heard the call of the Lord, with closed eyes and an open heart joined Jesus with a smile.

Sallie was born on April 18, 1930, to the late George Willie Wade and Gracie Ellen Marshall Wade. She married Henry David Jamison (D) on February 22, 1947, and bore ten children; Charlie Jamison, Ellen Wright, Elizabeth Paige (D), David Jamison (D), Shirley Dawson, Susie Robertson(D), Bobby Jamison(D), Cassandra Jamison(D), Mary Hodges, and Kimberly Jamison, along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Having the youngest 3 little bears Shyann Jamison, David Hodges and William (Deuce) Jamison by her side until the very end.

A celebration gathering will be held from 1 to 3 PM on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home. A private burial will take place at the family cemetery at a later date.

God’s Garden...

God looked around His garden and found an empty place; He looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful; He always takes the best. He knew you were suffering. He knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. He then closed your weary eyelids and whispered, “peace be thine.” It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home.
