Shirley Ann Rose

Shirley Ann Rose, 87, of Roanoke, VA passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023. She was born August 24, 1935 the daughter of the late Roby Burks and Ethel Green Burks. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Rose and a son, Bruce Rose.

Surviving are her son, Tim Rose (Brenda); grandson, Logan Rose (Makayla); two sisters, Freda Toms, Rita Abshire; brother, Hershel Burks. The family would like to say “THANK YOU” to the 4^th floor staff of Friendship Health and Rehab Center and also to the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Mt. Ivy Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Pasley officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday morning in the church from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
