Tony Leon Dillon

Tony Leon Dillon age 72 of Wirtz passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024 in Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 8, 1952 a son of the late Ben Dillon and Nannie Forbes Dillon. Tony spent his working career looking at the world through a windshield as he was a truck driver, a job that he thoroughly loved and enjoyed as he logged thousands and thousands of miles supporting his family through the rain, snow, and sunshine. His greatest joy was becoming a father to Sherry where he earned the title as #1 Dad. He was also a Veteran of the U. S. Army National Guard. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and will always be missed and loved by all and never forgotten.

In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his loving wife, Susie Dillon; his daughter, Sherry Musgrove (Ben); his grandsons, Derrick Musgrove and Warner Musgrove; sisters, Audrey Agee, Shirley Lynch (Danny), and Myra Boone (Curtis); brothers, Benny Dillon (Danya), and Jerry Dillon (Dodie). He is also survived by other family members and a host of friends.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Poland officiating. Tony's family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 AM at the funeral home.
