Violet Jacqueline Prillaman Whitlock

Jacqueline passed away at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Jacqueline Whitlock, at the age of 90.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Ida Prillaman, a brother, Melvin and a sister Eunice Turner.

Jacqueline was the devoted wife of the late Bobby Joe Whitlock, who predeceased her in 1998

Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law Lovviner (James) Simms of Rocky Mount and Regina (Tom) Tatum of Collinsville and her son

Bobby Whitlock, Jr. and a grandson and fiance Austin Simms (Greg Mueller), of Los Angeles, California.

Jacqueline was a devoted member of the Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Ferrum, for many years.

The family will welcome friends on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 one hour prior to the funeral which will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am.

The Reverend Terry Covey will officiate the funeral service.

A private interment is scheduled for the family only.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Twin Oaks Baptist Church would be greatly appreciated.
